GAM warns 78 businesses for flouting public health standards

Ammon News - The inspection teams of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Tuesday warned 78 facilities for not complying with health and safety measures.

According to a statement issued by the GAM Wednesday, the teams conducted some 712 visits to various establishments, during which 2 businesses were closed and 17 others were fined for flouting health and professional conditions.

"47 other facilities were also fined and closed for violating defense order," it added, noting that 63 citizens were penalized for violating public health standards.
