Ammon News - Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah, Director of the General Intelligence Department (GID) Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni awarded a group of GID officers the first State Centenary Medal.

His Majesty granted the medal to the GID during the Kingdom’s celebrations of the centennial of the foundation of the Jordanian state to honor their pioneering role in the nation’s elevation, progress and stability over the past hundred years.

Husni congratulated the awarded officials and all the GID personnel, recalling the sacrifices made by the personnel, retirees, and officers who died in the line of duty, who have given their lives for the homeland since the state’s establishment.
