On Wednesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, bringing relatively hot weather in the hilly areas and the plains, and hot conditions in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the department predicted. The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Monday will range between 33 and 29 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 21C or even 16C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 41C and a low of 29C.
