During the Eid vacation, the ministry’s media spokesperson, Mohammad Zyoud, said the inspection teams conducted a total of 2,884 visits in the capital and the Kingdom's governorates. Violations were issued against 418 establishments for breaking mask-wearing requirements, while 136 mask violators were also fined countrywide, and 12 hookah cafes were penalized for providing services in closed places, the spokesperson said.

The inspection teams of the Ministry of Labor issued 566 violations during the Eid al-Adha holiday against establishments that did not comply with its protocols and Defense Order No. 26.
