The Secretary-General of Epidemiological Affairs at the Ministry of Health Adel Al-Belbisi told Roya’s Nabd Albalad that the ministry will reduce the period between the two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine in Jordan after Eid Al-Adha.
The period between receiving the first and the second dose of the vaccine will become three weeks.
Belbisi said that in order to limit the spread of the Delta COVID-19 strain, the largest possible number of people should receive both doses of the vaccine.
He stressed that all coronavirus vaccines protect against the virus.
