In a committee meeting held on Sunday, Rifai said these serious discussions reflect keenness to achieve directions of the royal message, and present outputs that contribute to the continuation of the process of development and modernization to ensure the right of Jordanians to practice parliamentary and party life that advances their democracy and their lives, and contributes to empowering youth and women in public life.

Rifai pointed out to the importance of meetings and dialogues conducted by the committees with various community members in order to enrich the public debate on the issues raised, which have a direct impact on the progress of the Kingdom.

Rifai underlined that the committee is governed by a royal message with clear objectives, and that any other recommendations outside the scope of the mandate will be included in the proposals paper.

The meeting was held to present key discussions and deliberations of the sub-committees with the aim of consulting, coordinating efforts, informing members of what has been accomplished in the other committees, and submitting proposals related to the work of the six committees (election, political parties, constitutional amendments related to the election and party laws, youth empowerment, and women’s empowerment).

During the meeting, the consensus reached by the sub-committees was reviewed, and among key recommendations that were reviewed was to come up with a legislative framework that establishes an effective party life capable of persuading the voters.

Subcommittees meetings continue, at a rate of three sessions per week, and they hold meetings and consultations with various segments of society to benefit from ideas and suggestions presented by citizens, just as the committee receives through its website (tahdeeth.jo) citizens' opinions and suggestions in this regard.
