Temperatures on Monday are expected to become around their annual average, so moderate weather will prevail in the highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia, and hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with low clouds in the northern and central regions.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) in its daily brief warned the public of poor visibility in the morning hours over heights due to fog formation, and of direct exposure to sunlight.
Tuesday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
On Wednesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, bringing relatively hot weather in the hilly areas and the plains, and sweltering conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD added.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 21C or even 14C in the southern highlands. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 41 degrees and lows sliding to 27C.
