Jordan's highlands and plains are set to see relatively sizzling conditions above 30s, while a scorcher continues to bake the Badia regions, Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily update.

In its report, the JMD warns of the danger of direct exposure to the sun midday, and the possibility of low horizontal visibility due to dust in the eastern Badia regions.

Regarding Sunday, the effect of the hot spell will recede, as temperatures return to their seasonal average.

Meanwhile on Monday, the Kingdom will experience a slight rise in temperatures.
Also on Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 34 Celsius degrees, dropping to 21C degrees at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will roast in a searing 44C, dipping to 27C over night hours.
