Fund injects JD2mn into Mafraq development projects

Ammon News - The Development and Employment Fund (DEF) has financed 227 projects over the past three years at an estimated cost of JD2 million, creating 300 job opportunities.

DEF Director General Mansour Wrekat discussed during a meeting on Monday with the Mafraq Governor Yasser Adwan the services and financing programs provided by the Fund for establishing small- and medium-sized enterprises and pioneering projects and the development of existing projects.

Wrekat reviewed the Fund's vision and mission, the programs it finances and the facilities it provides, noting that work is underway to prepare the financing plan for the next year.

Adwan commended the fund's efforts to address the needs of the people and encourage them to tart small- and medium-sized projects to improve living standards and diversify income sources.
