In a statement on Wednesday, the Chamber indicated that the activity comes as part of assisting Jordanian companies in their post-COVID recovery process by leveraging from the Jordan–U.S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA), through exploring opportunities, growing their business and promoting the two-way trade between Jordan and the United States. The participating companies operate in the confectionary, snack and packaging sectors, and are ready to export in compliance with the American market standards. The Sweets and Snacks Expo, taking place from June 23rd-25th, will bring together thousands of confectionery and snack industry professionals from hundreds of different companies to learn about the latest product innovations, dive into confectionery and snack trends and connect with their peers through the show’s networking opportunities.

Ammon News - Under the Export Growth Program, American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan will physically participate in the Sweets and Snacks Expo 2021 in North America, Indiana, for the first time after the COVID pandemic, representing five Jordanian companies.
