Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Tuesday welcomed the CEO of the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank), Bang Moon-kyu and an accompanying delegation currently on a visit to the Kingdom, Petra reported.
The prime minister stressed Jordanian-Korean cooperation and said both Amman and Seoul are committed to enhancing ties in various spheres. He thanked the Korean government for projects and assistance programs launched in the Kingdom, and said they left a positive impact on a host of vital and priority sectors.
Khasawneh emphasized that his government is looking forward to continued cooperation with Korea Eximbank and said the Kingdom welcomes the bank's participation in local public-private partnership projects.
The premier spoke about the government's efforts to enhance the business-doing ecosystem and lure in foreign capital in a manner that drives development and job creation., according to Petra.
The Korea Eximbank CEO hailed the relationship between Jordan and Korea and said both countries have been maintaining diplomatic relations since nearly 60 years. He stressed that the bank is keen for closer cooperation with the Jordanian government.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Shraideh and Korean Ambassador in Amman Lee Jae-wan.
