Ammon News - The second phase of the European Regional Program for Development, Protection and Social Cohesion, implemented by the Ministry of Youth kicked off Tuesday in the Irbid governorate.
In a press statement, Director of Irbid Department Mohammad Jaradat said that this training program aims at improving and increasing safe spaces for refugees and host community members in Jordan, through implementing initiatives that strengthen and integrate all vulnerable groups into society and prevent human rights violations.
The program, he noted, will be implemented under 32 supervisors in 8 youth centers spread across the governorate, adding that the program covers several topics, namely an introduction of the project and its objectives, gender-based violence and child protection, and recommendations to protect children and reduce violence in society.
