Government removes ban on imports of some goods from Syria

Ammon News - Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali on Saturday decided to exclude some goods from a ban on imports from Syria.

The exemption, which will be valid for three months, includes candies, chocolates, wafers, natural leather shoes, children's wear, underwear, table, floor, wall and window-mounted fans subject to specific quantities.

The 2018 ban on Syrian merchandise includes coffee, tea, various types of vegetables and fruits, carbonated and mineral water, vegetable and animal oils, poultry, meat and fish.
