Ammon News - The Lower House's Foreign Affairs committee on Tuesday discussed with Egyptian Ambassador Sherif Kamel investment and trade relations and other areas of bilateral cooperation.
"We look forward to further cooperating in various economic, commercial, educational and cultural fields to serve the interests of the two countries," said committee chairman Mirza Bolad.
He pointed out that a recent trilateral summit that brought together Jordan, Egypt and Iraq will further enhance cooperation and partnership to fulfill their aspirations, stressing his commitment to boosting parliamentary ties.
The Egyptian envoy lauded the level of bilateral relations, and said his country seeks more cooperation to benefit from other expertise in the fields of education, agriculture and industry, noting that thousands of Jordanian students are studying in Egyptian universities and a large Egyptian workforce in Jordan.
