Qatari ambassador announces hiring new batch of Jordanian teachers

Qatar Ambassador to Jordan, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, said that the Qatari Ministry of Education and Higher Education began implementing a plan to hire a new batch of Jordanian teachers in a number of scientific and humanitarian specializations as of the next academic year 2021-2022.

While checking on tests conducted to the first batch of teachers, which began today and will last for several days, Ambassador Al Thani indicated that the decision-makers in Qatar are keen on including Jordanian teacher in the teaching staff to benefit from the various skills and educational expertise he enjoys.

The Qatari ambassador stressed that educational exchange and academic cooperation between Qatar and Jordan are receiving continuous follow-ups to complete the implementation of the outcomes of talks held between His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir, and his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah, during the last visit in February, in which it was agreed to provide 20,000 job opportunities for Jordanians and to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
