The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday condemned the launching of explosive-rigged drones and two ballistic missiles against Jazan and Khamis Mushait cities in Saudi Arabia on Sunday by the Yemen’s Houthi group.

In a statemen, Ministry spokesperson Daifallah Al-Fayez stressed Jordan's denunciation of what he described as "dangerous and systematic escalation", renewing the Kingdom's firm condemnation of these repeated terrorist acts targeting civilian areas, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

He also affirmed that the Kingdom will always stand by Saudi Arabia and support all the measures it takes to defend its security, stressing that any threat to the security of Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security and stability of the entire region.

Al-Fayez also lauded the efficiency and readiness of the Arab coalition forces to confront such attacks.
