Temperatures are set to remain below their normal levels by about 4-6 Celsius degrees, and the weather is cold almost countrywide, and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
In its report, the department warns of the danger of low horizontal visibility during daylight hours due to dust in Badia regions, and frost formation in the late night hours over highlands in southern mountains and parts of the Badia regions.
On Sunday, mercury is tipped to rise slightly, while the weather remains cold almost countrywide, and fair conditions will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Monday, another slight rise in mercury will occur, and the weather will be cold in the highlands and plains, and fair in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
Also today, temps in in Amman will range between 12C degrees, dipping to 4C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, dropping to 12C during night hours.
