Ammon News - The technical meetings of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee, which will meet next Wednesday for its twenty-ninth session, began in Amman on Saturday.
The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply said in a statement that the meetings were chaired by the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Youssef Al-Shamali, on the Jordanian side, and on the Egyptian side, the advisor to the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Tariq Al-Shaarawi.
It indicated that the committee will discuss cooperation in a number of fields, especially trade, investment, energy, agriculture, transportation, specifications and standards, labor and others.
It will also discuss a number of draft agreements and memoranda of understanding that will be signed during the meetings of the Higher Committee that will convene in Amman next Wednesday.
