Awqaf Minister, Muhammad Khalaileh, said that suspending Friday prayers as of next Friday until March 31 is a difficult decision, but losing loved ones is more difficult in light of the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In joint press conference held at the Prime Ministry on Wednesday, Khalaileh called for enduring this decision until the end of this month, in order to preserve the health of worshipers, indicating that if one of the worshipers was ill and came to the prayers, the disease will spread and cause harm to others.

The Awqaf Minister mentioned some Hadeeths on form Sunnah and scholars fatwas on illness and fear of getting infections in time of diseases outbreak
