Cabinet holds first session after reshuffle

Ammon News - The new Cabinet convened on Sunday, following the issuance of a Royal Decree, approving a reshuffle. Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh, during the meeting, stressed the importance of teamwork, coordination and harmony to face the unprecedented challenges due to the pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The premier emphasised that the public and private sectors, “in a real partnership approach”, must address the pandemic-induced challenges, notably those affecting the economy, labour market and unemployment.

Khasawneh highlighted the government’s role in addressing the challenges facing the private sector through removing red tape and creating an attractive investment environment.
