Ammon News - The Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) has been going strong with its campaign to vaccinate 367 senior citizens in residential centers (care homes) against COVID-19, the Ministry said in a statement Wednesday.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MoH), the MoSD has managed to administer the vaccine to 197 so far, it said, noting that there are still 170 senior citizens who live in 4 different centers on the waiting list to receive their first dose soon.

The Ministry highlighted that the centers are located in Amman, Zarqa and Irbid.
