Water minister inaugurates new services centre in Mafraq

Ammon News - Water Minister Motasem Saidan on Thursday inaugurated a services centre in Mafraq.

Funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the centre is aimed at improving services provided to citizens in Mafraq, 80km northeast of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The centre provides a set of services for some 48,000 subscribers, which would help save their time and effort, the minister said.

Highlighting the continuous Jordanian-German cooperation, Saidan expressed thanks to the German government and GIZ for supporting the Kingdom’s efforts towards improving water sector and facing challenges in this arena, notably amid the coronavirus pandemic.
