Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), has completed on Wednesday, the distribution of winter clothes for needy families in the Kingdom.
In a press statement issued by the JHCO, the organization announced some 18, 088 poor families and Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan have benefited from the campaign, who received blankets and winter bags, per their needs during the winter season.
KSRelief director in Jordan, Saud Hazim, said the Amman-based center’s branch is about to launch various relief projects to extend aid to needy families countrywide.
For his part, JHCO assistant secretary-general, Mohammed al-Kilani, said winter aid projects, carried out with the KSRelief support, will contribute to meeting the main needs of the targeted groups of underprivileged Jordanian families, Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
The number of beneficiaries from the winter aid project was estimated at 90,000 in the Kingdom's various governorates, according to al-Kilani.
