15-11-2020 01:43 PM

Ammon News -

Jihad Momani, the spokesman of the Independent Election Commission, said that the commission has referred a number of candidates of the 19th parliamentary election and supporters to the public prosecution. This has been occurred after the commission has received recordings, videos and materials that prove they have bought votes during the election day among them candidates that have already won the election.

He also said that the commission has referred other candidates to the public prosecution as they offended the election process and the Independent Election Commission in addition to casting doubt on the results of the election in an unacceptable way.

This action has been taken after a number of candidates have cast doubt on the integrity and neutrality of the Independent Election Commission. The commission spokesman added.
