Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan has recorded 38 deaths and 2,821 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, 2,818 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 46,441, a statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health said.
The local cases include 1,886 in Amman, 293 in Zarqa, 268 in Irbid, including 33 in Ramtha, 133 in Balqa, 61 in Aqaba, 37 in Maan, including 10 in Petra, 35 in Ajlun, 32 in Mafraq, 28 in Karak, 23 in Madaba, and 17 in Tafilah.
Three cases involving Jordanian truck drivers who entered the country via al-Omari Border Crossing.
A total of 103 COVID-19 patients have been admitted to designated hospitals and 117 recovery cases have been recorded in Jordan on Thursday.
A total of 23,115 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of COVID-19 tests to 1,666,169.
