1,278 people nabbed, 350 vehicles impounded for violating curfew nationwide

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Security patrols deployed in the Kingdom's various regions have nabbed 1278 people, who have flouted instructions of the comprehensive lockdown in the governorates of Amman and Zarqa and the partial curfew in the rest of the country's regions, in addition to impounding 350 vehicles, since 11 pm on Thursday.

In a statement late Friday evening, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the violators will face legal action.

Meanwhile, civil defense crews have dealt during the past 24 hours with 2523 ambulance cases, 35 firefighting, and 20 rescue incidents, respectively, according to the spokesperson.
