Four COVID-19 infections reported in Kingdom

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Four COVID-19 cases were recorded in the Kingdom, all of which had come from abroad, Sunday, bringing the caseload to 1,218 since the start of the outbreak in the country, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Three of the newly registered cases are for people who had come from Saudi Arabia and Iraq, 2 and 1 respectively, a statement issued by the MoH and the Prime Ministry said, adding that the fourth case is for a Jordanian truck driver who had tested positive for the disease at the eastern Al-Omari border crossing with Saudi Arabia.

Two patients recovered today and up to 6,715 tests were conducted as the total number of tests reaches 513,932.

The MoH highlighted the importance of downloading the "Aman" and "Sehtak" apps that have been developed to detect possible COVID-19 cases and provide users with breakthroughs and up-to-date information about the disease.
