One COVID-19 fatality recorded in Kingdom Saturday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A 70-year-old woman succumbed to COVID-19 in Amman Saturday, taking the death toll across the country to 11, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Five infections were recorded today, all from abroad as the caseload reaches 1,214. Three of the newly recorded cases were for arrivals from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Iraq and 1 from the U.S.

On a higher note, 1 patient recovered today, who had been receiving medical treatment in the Queen Alia Military Hospital, the MoH said, adding that 7,155 tests were conducted as the total number of tests since the beginning of the outbreak in the Kingdom tops 507,200.

The Ministry highlighted the importance of downloading the "Aman" and "Sehtak" apps that have been developed to detect possible COVID-19 cases and provide users with breakthroughs and up-to-date information about the disease.
