Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Health Minister Saad Jaber said Saturday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in contact with Canadian authorities to follow up on the condition of a Canadian tourist infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and identify those who were in contact with her during her stay in Jordan.

He said in a statement to Petra that the ministry had identified the tour guide who accompanied her, and had taken the necessary measures to put him under quarantine.

Jaber pointed out that the time difference between Jordan and Canada had delayed the government's contacts to know the route the tourist had taken and determine those who interacted with her during her stay in the Kingdom.
