The committee said that "based on the Prime Ministry's decision and in line with the preventive measures announced to avoid infection with the virus, it was decided to put on hold all sporting events, and to obligate all sports federations to heed this decision, effective immediately and until further notice."

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan Olympic Committee on Saturday suspended its sports activities as part of preventive measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The committee said that "based on the Prime Ministry's decision and in line with the preventive measures announced to avoid infection with the virus, it was decided to put on hold all sporting events, and to obligate all sports federations to heed this decision, effective immediately and until further notice."
