Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will slightly increase on Thursday, bringing relatively cold weather in most parts of the Kingdom and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily report.
The weather will turn to be colder at night, with high clouds and southeasterly to southwesterly moderate winds, the JMD.
The highs today will reach 18 degrees Celsius in Amman, 14 in the northern region and 13 in the southern highlands, sliding down to 9, 6 and 4 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees dropping down to 14 at night, the JMD noted.
Friday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with the appearance of low clouds in the late night hours and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will again on Saturday. Therefore, it will be cold and cloudy with spotty showers in the northern and central regions, while winds will be northwesterly brisk, blowing dust in the Badia regions, the JMD expected.
