In an advisory, the PSD also urged people to keep away from low-lying areas and locations where flashfloods form, and to use safe heating ensuring proper ventilation and that heaters are not left burning during sleep. It called on the public to call the emergency number 911 when necessary.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Public Security Department (PSD) Saturday called on drivers to take extra care and caution in dealing with the road during severe weather conditions.

In an advisory, the PSD also urged people to keep away from low-lying areas and locations where flashfloods form, and to use safe heating ensuring proper ventilation and that heaters are not left burning during sleep.

It called on the public to call the emergency number 911 when necessary.
