Jordan's mission to participate in observing Azerbaijan's legislative elections

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Jordanian mission, which is schedule to take part in monitoring the legislative elections in Azerbaijan, arrived in Baku on Thursday.

Some 450 monitors, comprised of politicians, representatives of parties and civil society institutions, journalists and electoral experts, from various Arab and foreign countries, will participate in observing Azerbaijan's elections next Sunday.

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev had issued a decree on December 2019, to dissolve the 5th session of the National Assembly and determine February 9, 2020, the early legislative elections in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan, since its independence in 1991, has continued to pursue the policy of democratic and political reform.
