Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in mercury levels is expected Tuesday with cold weather prevailing in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with low-altitude clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 14 degrees Celsius in Amman, 10 in the northern cities and 11 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 6, 4 and 3 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 22 and lows standing at 10, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees over the next two days, bringing relatively cold weather in most regions and fair conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds at various altitudes, the JMD expected.
On Thursday night, clouds will start to build up with a chance of showers in the northern regions and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the Badia areas, the JMD noted.
