Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian Embassy in Chile is following up on the conditions of Jordanians in the capital Santiago following the unfortunate events taking place in the country, head of operations center in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, Monday said.
Qudah stressed that no Jordanians were injured during Chile protests, and that the embassy has been in constant contact with members with the Jordanian national karate team, which is currently in Santiago to participate in the World Karate Championship.
He added that the ministry's operations center calls on Jordanians residing and visiting Santiago, for their own safety, to stay away from areas of tension and gatherings, and to exercise caution during their movement, and to comply fully with the curfew decision and the instructions issued by the authorities in Chile in this regard.
The center also urged Jordanians to immediately contact the Jordanian Embassy in Santiago in case of any emergency on the hotline number 0056932270498 or the operations center in the ministry at 00962795497777 around the clock, wishing safety for all and for the Republic of Chile and its people safety and progress.
