Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail on Sunday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in the Badia region, the Dead Sea and the Jordan valley with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Monday, bringing normal summer conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, becoming few degrees above their annual average and creating relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, and hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the southern cities will reach 31 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 19 and 20 at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 27 at night, it further added.
