Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail Thursday in the hilly area and plains, while it will be hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
At night, it will be pleasant in the mountains areas and plains and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 33 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 21. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 42 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 28 at night.
Similar weather conditions are forecast on Friday, but temperatures are expected to slightly on Saturday hovering around their annual average and bringing normal summer conditions.
Northwesterly moderate winds, picking at times are also expected over the next two days, the JMD further added.
