Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but relatively cold weather will continue to prevail in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be pleasant in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Low clouds are also expected with a chance for scattered showers in the morning hours mainly in the northern regions, while winds will be southeasterly moderate, the JMD added.
Sunny conditions will prevail on over the next two days, but it will continue relatively cold in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be pleasant in other areas with southeasterly brisk, blowing dust in the desert areas at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today will reach 15 degrees Celsius in Amman and 14 in the northern cities, dropping down at night to 6 in both areas. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows standing at 14, the JMD said.
