Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday becoming above their annual average, but cold conditions will continue to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Freeze and frost formation are also forecast after midnight in the highlands and the Badia regions, while winds will be southeasterly light, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Sunday, but similar weather conditions will continue with clouds at various altitudes in many regions and a chance for scattered showers at night in the northern and central areas.

Maximum daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 14 degrees Celsius in Amman, the northern and southern cities, dropping down at night to 4,3 and 2 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 22 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 11 degrees at night, the JMD added.
