Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected Thursday and Friday, but similar cold conditions will continue to prevail in most areas, while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate with frost formation at night in the hilly areas and parts of the Badia regions, the JMD added.
Another rise in mercury levels is also forecast on Saturday, but stable conditions will remain across many parts of the country with southeasterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman and southern cities will reach 11 degrees Celsius dropping down to 3 and 2 respectively. Mercury levels in the port city of Aqaba will stand at 21 degrees, sliding down to 12 at night, the JMD added further.
