Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Tuesday declared a state of emergency to deal with a depression that is forecast to bring rain and snow in the Kingdom.

It posted the numbers of operation rooms set up across the capital city for citizens to report any emergencies or observations during the cold weather.

GAM also issued precautions to the public and urged those living in low-lying areas to keep away from flashfloods, adding that the municipality is following up on the situation in coordination with the administrative governors.

It also called for the removal of light and moving objects from rooftops due to strong wind.
