Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is forecast on Thursday as cold and partly cloudy weather will prevail with a chance for scattered rain in the northern parts of the Kingdom, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
At night, clouds will gradually decrease but it will be very cold with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds changing to southeasterly, the department added.
Temperatures will rise few degrees on Friday, becoming above their annual average, but it will remain cold in most regions, while it will be fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with southeasterly moderate winds, the department noted.
Mercury levels will again on Saturday and similar weather conditions will remain with low clouds. The weather will become partly cloudy in the evening with a chance for light showers in the northern areas, the JMD further said.
Temperatures for today will reach 12 degrees Celsius in Amman, 14 in the northern cities and 10 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 3, 4 and -1 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 21 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 11 at night, the JMD added.
