Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Bassam Al-Talhouni, and Hungarian ambassador to Jordan, Csaba Czibere, discussed Saturday increasing the number of Hungarian students in Jordanian universities, in exchange for the number of Jordanian students in Hungarian universities, as Hungary offers 400 scholarships to the Kingdom annually.

During the meeting, Talhouni lauded efforts of the Hungarian embassy in Amman's staff and the Hungarian government to provide a comfortable and safe study environment for Jordanian students in Hungarian universities.

The minister said Hungary is one of the most host countries for Jordanian students within the cultural exchange program between the two countries.

In turn, Ambassador Czibere said the scholarship program offered by his government is based on bilateral cooperation agreements involving some 65 partner countries, noting that Jordan is the largest beneficiary through 400 scholarships per year.

The Hungarian ambassador added that the scholarships cover all academic levels in the bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees, indicating that the program covers tuition fees, monthly allocations for living expenses, accommodation and health insurance.

Czibere commended Jordanian higher education institutions' level, especially in the field of teaching and scientific research.
