Ammon News - The Jordan Micro Credit Company (Tamweelcom) will inaugurate the 13th Souk Ayyadi bazaar in Abdoun Mall to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Souk Ayyadi bazaar is one of the comprehensive marketing services that Tamweelcom endeavors to make available in support of micro entrepreneurs and poor producers and in fulfillment of its social mission. It also part of the non-financial services that Tamweelcom provides to its clients, using bazaars and permanent exhibitions.
Tamweelcom’s CEO Ziad Al-Refai said: “The Company’s keenness to organize bazaars and involve its clients in these activities aims to break the gap between the poor producers and the end consumers.”
Many of Tamweelcom’s clients who work in handicrafts, such as embroidery, pottery, mosaics, straw and various other handicrafts participated in the bazaar.
Al-Refai stressed the importance of raising clients’ standard of living and social standing through the comprehensive services that are provided by the Company free-of-charge by means of training, financing, and marketing.
Tamweelcom is a non-profit microfinance company in Jordan that endeavors to fight poverty and unemployment. It was founded in 1999 and is owned by the Noor Al-Hussein Foundation (King Hussein Foundation). More than 124 thousand projects have been financed using more than JD58 million, 95% of the projects were for women.
