Relatively hot weather continues Sunday, in temps Monday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail Sunday in the hilly areas, the Badia regions and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at various altitudes are also expected with a weak chance for light showers at night in the southern and eastern parts of the country, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in many regions, the JMD said.
Temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 30 degrees Celsius dropping down to 20 and 21 respectively, while it will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 39 degrees and a lows standing at 28, the JMD added. Unstable weather conditions are expected to start affecting the Kingdom on Monday, as mercury levels will few degrees, creating moderate weather in the mountainous areas and the plains. Relatively hot conditions will continue in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with cloudy skies and a chance for scattered showers early morning in the southern areas, including the Gulf of Aqaba.
Rainfall accompanied with thunder at times is expected in the evening, while winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk, the department noted.
Moderate conditions will prevail on Tuesday across many parts of the country with clouds at medium and high altitudes and a weak chance for showers in the eastern regions. Winds will be westerly moderate change to northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD further said.
