Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -The Government congratulated the Iraqi people and government over the success of the parliamentary elections.

State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said that achieving this democratic requirement represents an important step on the path of regaining security and stability in Iraq.

The minister said that the success of the electoral process is a culmination of victories that have been achieved by Iraq against terror organizations, mainly Daesh terrorist group.

Momani praised political and security measures taken by the Iraqis to ensure the success of the elections and the participation of all political parties and forces and components of the Iraqi society in this political process, affirming the importance of that in overcoming challenges facing Iraq, and continuing the process of building institutions to achieve stability in the country as well as aspirations of the Iraqi people.

The minister affirmed the support of Jordan's leadership and people to the Iraqi people to enable Iraq to overcome political, economic and security challenges and regain its effective role at the Arab, regional and international levels.
