Mahmoud Abdul Halim Freihat on Thursday received Commander of the Malaysian Special Forces, Major Gen. Detk Hassan bin Ali and Commander of the Mauritanian Land Forces, Lit. Gen. Mohammed Sheikh Amein. During the meetings, Freihat discussed with the military guests participating in the 12th session of the SOFEX 2018 exhibition, specialized in defense industries, special operations equipment and national security, the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and cooperation and coordination in a host of issues related to the Jordanian armed forces. Freihat also reviewed Jordan's security role in supporting stability in the region and combating terrorism and extremism.
