Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An Arab ministerial delegation have been formed to work at the diplomatic and media levels to address the repercussions of the US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocate the US embassy to the occupied city, Official Spokesperson of the Arab League Mahmoud Afifi announced on Sunday.
Afifi said that the committee was formed in light of contacts that have been made recently by Jordan in its capacity as president of the Arab Summit and the Arab Peace Initiative Committee.
The delegation comprises the foreign ministers of Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, the UAE and the Arab League secretary general.
The delegation is scheduled to hold its first meeting in Amman early next week.
