The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily that similar conditions are forecast to prevail on Monday with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for scattered showers, mainly in the northern and eastern regions. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the eastern areas. As for Tuesday, temperatures are going to slightly rise, but pleasant weather will continue with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added. Temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern regions will reach a high of 24 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 15 and 14 respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register 31 degrees, sliding to 21 at night, the JMD noted.
