At night, the JMD said that mercury levels will cool down hovering around 14 degrees in the capital and the northern cities, standing at 10 degrees in the southern regions and dropping to 22 in the Gulf of Aqaba. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to slightly rise, but autumn-like conditions will remain in the hilly areas with relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk picking up at times, with clouds at different altitudes mainly in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, the JMD said.
